Vaughan Phillips (A.K.A.) Syntrax was born into a musical family on the 10th February 1981. As soon as he could walk he was always wearing a set of headphones and could usually be found tinkering away on the piano. Vaughan started his DJing career in the early 90’s playing at school functions, friend’s parties, 21st’s, 40th’s, weddings and corporate events. It was only a few years later that he was bitten and infected by the techno bug. In 1998 the beatmixing journey had begun. Using two simple CD players and mixer, it was to be a long haul until the arrival of vinyl records.

*2004: Studied Music & Studio Production

*2005: 1st release "RMB - Dreams" on Chromium records UK Top 20 unsigned artists

*2006: Set up Stereo FX recording studio and Dance Music Label

*2007: "RMB - This Time" Remixed by Shmuel Flash & Huge A, vinyl release, promoted @WMC and Ibiza, Supported by Thomas Penton & The Flash Brothers
